It was found that SALE in men was around ten years lower than their total life expectancy. So, if you are in your 40s your SALE can be around 45, but your life expectancy will be around 55. On the other hand, for a woman aged 40, SALE will be around 41 but their total life expectancy can be more than 60. So, men can anticipate a healthier sex life for their remaining years as compared to women but the same can’t be said about their life expectancy.
According to experts, SALE can be used as a new life expectancy tool and can help the administration to be better prepared for addressing the medical needs of an older population.
